January 2011 - Main Street Faribault

Zehner Consulting has been selected to provide a promotion committee training and facilitate a work planning session for Main Street Faribault. In the Main Street approach to downtown revitalization and commercial district management, the promotions committee is responsible for marketing strategy, image development, retail promotions, and special events management.

Main Street Faribault is one of the first programs to be designated by Minnesota Main Street. The program is housed out of the Faribault Chamber of Commerce and began operating in the fall of 2010. The City of Faribault is located 50 miles south of Minneapolis in Rice County. Southern Minnesota is an interesting economic region with a strong agricultural economy, many important white collar employers, and close proximity to the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan region. Morgan is greatly looking forward to working on the marketing strategy for the Main Street Faribault.
