September 2008 - CHANCE Neighborhood Business Fellows

Over the Course of the next few months, Zehner Consulting will be assisting CHANCE (Cedar-Humphrey Action for Neighborhood Engagement) write business cases based on the experiences of small businesses located in the Ceder-Riverside neighborhood. Cedar-Riverside is the commercial district directly abutting the business, law and public policy school buildings at the University of Minnesota. The district is home to many businesses founded by entrepreneurs from North Africa, as well as businesses specializing in goods and services of interest to students. CHANCE is a multidisciplinary initiative designed to better integrate students with the their surrounding community. The final cases will be used as part of the entrepreneurial development curriculum at the Carlson School of Management.
